The Issues
- Flock: Ai-powered surveillance cameras is a violation of our privacy in our small desert town. This is supposed to be a place where we can enjoy seclusion from the the rest of California and the country.
- Data Center: She believes the Eastern Sierras is the most beautiful place she has lived and wants to keep it that way. She is opposed to the Inyokern Data Center.
- Crime/Parks & Rec: Studies have shown that when you give the community something to do, there is less crime. Brenda would support a city budget that improves our parks for all ages. Teenagers need their own spaces to socialize. An amphitheater would be an engaging space where teens could gather to express their talents with “battle of the bands”, improv, and dance.
- Water: Brenda is interested in reviewing our water solutions that provide the maximum benefit without ballooning costs for ratepayers in the City of Ridgecrest.
